Public Relations

Welcome to our Public Relations page! The FMS Public Relations Office is here to support Farmington's students, staff, and the community by sharing accurate and timely information about student achievements, events, and initiatives. We work closely with the superintendent, administrators, principals, and all school staff to ensure clear and effective communication.

Our communication is quick and direct. Through our Parent and Staff Notification System (Thrillshare), we can send calls, texts, and emails to families and staff within minutes. Our website and social media channels have a wide reach, with thousands of followers every day (15,000 on Facebook and 2,050 on Instagram). FMS also uses PeachJar to distribute information to our families via email replacing our old bulletin boards and saving paper in the process. These tools play a significant role in the success of our events.

News and Announcements

FMS students and staff, our communication channels are yours – help us get the word out across the district and to the greater community about the wonderful events happening at Farmington Municipal Schools and our communities. Our website and social media channels (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and YouTube) allow FMS to share videos, photos, upcoming events, and news fast. Remember to help us promote our official channels. This, in turn, makes it easier for families to stay updated with the latest information as soon as we have it. Also, remember to use our hashtags to keep all of us connected, #RisingToExcellenceInEveryPursuit #LearningAtFMS #FMSStudentLife #WeAreFMS.
