The Board of Education discussed the new Superintendent’s contract and evaluation during a Special Meeting on February 7, 2023.
The Board approved a new contract for Superintendent Cody Diehl by a 5-0 vote. The new agreement was finalized on February 14 and it changes the second year of Superintendent Diehl’s current contract, essentially presenting him with a three-year agreement that starts on July 2023.
“Every day I come to work at Farmington Municipal Schools I’m reminded of the accomplishments of the last few years and the challenges that remain for our district. And in both instances, I come to the conclusion that it takes everybody to achieve great things in academics, music, and sports, and that it will require everybody’s ideas and efforts to elevate us to where we need to be,” said Superintendent Diehl.
“I want to thank the Board of Education for this new contract and their confidence in me to lead the district. Let’s get to work,” he continued.
