Twenty-six FMS students participated in the NC3 National Signing Day at San Juan College today. Similar to an athletic signing, students sign a letter of intent to pursue a career in technical education.
“Students, this is a big deal! You will have a competitive advantage. You will have hands-on experience, and acquire industry-recognized credentials, and high skills in high-demand jobs. You will have a head start on your career. It also means that you will make a positive impact on our community. You will fill gaps in our local workforce, you will help attract new businesses and boost economic growth in our community. You are the tie between our schools and our community. CTE is a game-changer for students. Congratulations!” said Cody Diehl, Superintendent of Farmington Municipal Schools, during today’s event.
