Today, at Hermosa Middle School, we celebrated our students’ outstanding qualities by giving out certificates to recognize their great behavior and efforts. We acknowledged students who demonstrated an “Awesome Attitude,” went “Above and Beyond,” were “Most Helpful,” had excellent “Manners,” and showed remarkable “Improvement.”
Each teacher at the school chose five students to be part of this celebration. It all started with the Hermosa Student Council giving these students a big round of applause as they walked into the gym. The event concluded with a fun game of musical chairs, where everyone joined in by either playing or sharing their bracelet, sweater, or shoe with a friend.
We're excited about how this event helps build a positive school environment, Matadors! Similar celebrations are planned for the end of each quarter, so we look forward to seeing you again soon.
