This week, the Board of Education recognized our talented FMS students who recently competed in the State SkillsUSA Competition, representing our school in a wide range of categories—including Diesel Technology, Automotive Technology, Film, Teamwork (Construction), Individual Welding, Welding Fabrication, and Forensics.
A special congratulations to our Welding Fabrication Team—Wyatt Boognl, Rodrigo Lopez, and David Becker—who took 1st place and brought home the Gold for the second year in a row! They’ll be heading to Nationals to represent FMS on the big stage.
We’d also like to recognize Kevin Cunningham, who earned 3rd place and a Bronze medal in Diesel Technology—way to go, Kevin!
