Kiwanis and Key Club Members at December Meeting

Last week the Farmington Municipal School Key Club Members attended a meeting with the Kiwanis Members to update them on the work being done by the students involved.

Kiwanis is an international organization that focuses on helping kids around the world. Our local city club provides assistance to the community by organizing events like "Clothes for Kids" and "Shoes for Kids".

Key Club is a junior version of Kiwanis. The goal for these students is to be of service throughout the community where it is needed. They have been very busy this year assisting in numerous events and projects to benefit our city.

One of the items on the agenda that stood out was the Key Club volunteer work at the "Clothes for Kids" event. These students helped children in need pick out $100 worth of clothing and ensure they got the perfect outfit! The students detailed how amazing it was to connect with these children and make lasting relationships in the community.

This club has provided great help to our community and we look forward to all the good things to come from Key Club!
