BUSSING FOR 11TH GRADERS ON APRIL 10
On Wednesday, April 10th, our high school juniors have their SAT exams in the morning, which means they'll be leaving school early. To make sure they get home safely, our buses will run earlier than typically scheduled from 12:30 to 1:00 p.m.
This change only applies to 11th graders who are taking the SAT at Farmington HS, Piedra Vista HS, and Rocinante HS. There won't be any other high school grades attending school that day.
HOME/OFFICES AND PROGRAMS/ASSESSMENT/STATE ASSESSMENTS
Every Students Succeeds Act (ESSA) requires states to annually measure the achievement of not less than 95 percent of all students in each subgroup of students, who are enrolled in public schools. ESSA requires the assessment of all students, including students with disabilities and English learners, in:
Reading and/or language arts in grades 3-8 and once in high school;
Mathematics in grades 3-8 and once in high school; and
Science once in grades 3-5, once in grades 6-9, and once in grades 10-12
