We had 8 Apache Elementary students participate in the spelling bee hosted at PVHS on March 31st. These students embraced their culture and showed off their skills. Kiara Benally took 1st place and Emiliana Garbiso took 2nd place in the Elementary Division. Other Apache students who participated were Cree Toledo, Vaidyn Harrison, Aurelia Harvey, Ethan John, Zachary Curley, and Hayden Stanley. Ms. Leiba-Jack, one of Apache's Diné teachers, also watched as her granddaughter took 3rd place. Congratulations to all!
