Parents and staff,
To maximize instruction time and opportunities for learning, Farmington Municipal Schools has made several changes to inclement weather procedures for the 2021/2022 school year.
- In the event school buildings are closed due to snow or other inclement weather, staff and students will shift to Remote Learning for the day, beginning at their regularly scheduled time.
- There can be 2-hour delays during the 2021/2022 school year. If buses cannot run at their normal times, they will pick students up 2 hours later than normal.
- If there is a 2-hour delay, the preschool AM session is canceled and the preschool PM session will still be held.
Meal Delivery
On Remote Learning Days, meal delivery will be delayed at least two hours and it is possible for both meal curbside pick-up and meal delivery to be canceled.
Up-to-date Information
Announcements will be made on the FMS website, social media pages, and via phone calls and emails to parents regarding food service on Remote Learning Days. Announcements are also sent to local and regional media outlets (see a list of local television stations below).
