Summer-EBT Information (Sun Bucks)

FMS families, we’ve received some exciting news from the state’s Student Success and Wellness Bureau! They’ve announced the launch of the Summer-EBT (*SUN Bucks) website and application! Feel free to share this information with other families!

Who's Automatically Enrolled?

Directly Certified Students: If your child is currently receiving benefits from SNAP, TANF, or certain categories of Medicaid, they are automatically enrolled to receive a SUN Bucks card with a $120 benefit per student.

Special Programs: Students in Homeless/Runaway, Foster, Migrant, and Head Start programs are also automatically enrolled and do not need to apply.

Who Needs to Apply?

If your child doesn't fall into the above categories, including those attending a CEP school, you will need to apply to participate in the SUN Bucks EBT program.

To activate your Summer-EBT card, check your balance, or set your PIN, call the FIS Customer Service Center at 1-800-843-8303.

Questions About Summer-EBT Eligibility

If you have questions about your child’s school-aged eligibility for Summer-EBT regarding what free or reduced school lunch program they are on, please contact 599-8778.

If you have a general question about Summer-EBT call the Consolidated Customer Service Center (CCSC) at 1-800-283-4465.

*What are SunBucks? SunBucks EBT benefits complement existing FNS nutrition assistance programs, such as Summer Food Meal Sites, Seamless Summer, and WIC, ensuring children and their families have reliable access to essential nutrition during the summer months.
