As you may already be aware, the school district has partnered with Linewize by Family Zone to improve our online safety solutions and strategies. Linewize technologies will help us to ensure our students are safe and on-task during school time and offer parents a range of options for monitoring and supporting their children’s online journey.
1. Online Safety Hub: Our Hub is an incredible parent resource that has been developed by Linewize’s global experts to keep our community connected across our District’s online-safety program, and informed on the latest online-safety and digital wellness topics from a
child-development perspective.
2. Digital Wellness Webinars: Our parent community has the unique opportunity to attend live webinars hosted by Linewize’s lead online safety and digital wellness expert, psychologist Teodora Pavkovic. Teodora will share a wealth of practical cutting-edge information with our parents and allow time for a Q and A segment during her presentations.
3. Family Zone Connect App (currently in beta): To support parents even further, we will be providing them with a tool to help monitor and support their child’s use of devices and time spent in online spaces. They can use the app to monitor both school and personal devices.
