
Orchestra students will be invited to "Orchestra at the Symphony" tomorrow, November 17. The concert pre-talk will begin at 2:00 where students will learn about the music that is about to be performed and the concert will begin at 3:00 PM. The public is more than welcome and encouraged to attend our local professional performances at San Juan College Henderson Performing Arts Theater. Tickets available at the door.


National Junior Honor Society is collecting winter items to be donated to the PATH homeless shelter. As the weather turns cold, PATH is in need of gloves, hats, scarves, and socks. Items can be new or gently used, but please make sure they are clean and warm. Donations can be brought to our Family Engagement Night on Monday, November 18th, or sent to school with your student.

The FMS Native American Fashion Show is a celebration of our students’ identities. Now back for a second year, this event will again showcase traditional clothing and regalia, most made by hand and created with love, all beautifully modeled by them. #NativeAmericanMonth #WeAreFMS


Tibbetts Craft Fair is coming up on November 9th! We hope to see you there!


Over the last few weeks, Tibbetts Middle School counselors have taught school-wide lessons on bullying prevention & substance abuse prevention. To celebrate what was learned, the school participated in our annual door decorating contest. Thanks to everyone that participated, there were 36 doors decorated using one of our prevention themes! The doors were judged by our Peer-2-Peer Helpers & the results are in:

2nd place: Mr. Guillory & Mrs Mahan
3rd place: Ms. Lasley, Ms. Durphy & Mr. Akins

FHS and Tibbetts String Students will perform at the Scorpion String Recital at scheduled times TOMORROW, 8 AM-12:30 PM at the Connie Gotsch Theater located on the San Juan College campus. Help orchestra students remember to take their instruments home today!!


Dear FMS Families, the NM Public Education Department will conduct a survey on October 28, 2024, to learn about student well-being and what we can do to help students succeed. The survey aims to understand differences among student experiences to proactively create support structures and how our results fall in comparison to national benchmarks and similar districts or schools. Tomorrow beginning at 9 PM, All Farmington Middle School Orchestra students will start working with professional string players on string playing technique and overall musicianship. There will be a short concert presentation at 5 PM for the public in the San Juan College, Henderson Hall. Cost will be $3/person.
