Native American Programs Staff

Native American Youth Advisors (NAYAs) are assigned at six schools to provide daily culturally responsive mentoring, advisement and cultural activities for Native American students in PreK-12 grades. The Native American Youth Advisors collaborate with teachers to implement cultural activities in the classrooms. The cultural activities reinforce the Native Pathways (Holistic Wellness-Nitsáhákees, Cultural Awareness- Nahat'á, Academic Support (Parental Cost)- Iiná and College & Career Readiness- Siihasin). In addition, the Native American Programs staff includes the Director, Administrative Assistant and Data Clerk.
